Sportshall, 11th November Results and Pictures

Last Saturday 7 Under 11 Teams from SAN member clubs competed in a Sportshall event at Surrey Sports Park.  This was the first of 2 events which will be used to select the Surrey Under 11 Team for the Regional Final in February 2018.

Quadkids Final 5th July 2017 – Results

The SAN Quadkids season finished with a great competition on a very warm summer evening with 8 SAN Club Teams, who had qualified in previous events, competing for the medals and trophy.

There were some excellent performances.  Well Done to everyone who took part and Thank You to those who worked so hard before and during the event to make it a success.

Surrey Teams do well in Inter-Counties Sportshall event 11 February 2017

Teams of athletes selected from Clubs in the Network did well in the Inter-Counties competition at Burgess Hill on 11th February.  Selection for the teams was based on the results of the Network Sportshall on 8th January.

In a very competitive event the boys team won bronze medals and the girls team were 4th.


Very well done to all the athletes who took part and thanks to Laura White and Graham Maxwell from CADAC for their excellent work as Team Managers.




SAN Throws Workshop – sign up!

The Surrey Athletics Network is pleased to advertise a throws workshop being held on 22nd March 2015 at Epsom and Ewell Athletics Track – The Harrier Centre, Poole Road, Epsom, KT19 9RY

The day will consist of drills for correction and competition preparation for athletes in all four throwing disciplines – javelin, shot, hammer and discus. The throwing sessions themselves are being led by lead throws coaches Bronwin Carter, Amir Williamson and Mark Wiseman.

There are limited spaces as groups want to be kept small so direct feedback can be given to coaches and athletes, so make sure you book up quickly if you are interested.
